Virden Police Department
Our city is a wonderful place to live, visit and do business in.
Virden has two sports parks for play and a beautiful town square
with a band shell, which is central for the annual 4th of July
Celebration hosted by the American Legion Post 386.
Municipal emergency services include our modern fire and police
departments. Our ambulance, Prairieland Ambulance Service is
augmented by Virden Fire and Rescue.
Virden is home to many thriving retail businesses. We have two
auto dealers with full time service departments. There are over nine
restaurants to serve you a variety of foods.
People here are friendly and always willing to help out each other
